I have had a 360 moded for some time now. I have a Hitachi 47DJ drive and ordered the Xecuter x360USB a long time ago, and after a little problem understanding the procedure, got everything working with Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth 8in1. I have had no problems with my backups until about a few weeks ago. It seems I am getting a lot of read errors or dirty disc errors. I tried cleaning the drive, all my stuff stays super clean, I thought it might be the latest batch of DVD's or my new computer, but I put it some of my older backups and got the same issues. I thought it may have been some updates that were applied that made the drive out of sync. I used my originals and they seem to work, when I put it my Halo 3 original, works fine, my backup doesn't. This seems to be the case for just about all of them now. Most will boot, but a few minutes into the game, I get the errors or lockups. So I thought I needed to flash my drive again with a updated version of something. My connectivity kit v2 seems to have taken a dump and doesn't work anymore, I can't get any lights/power on the connector. So before I order a new kit or drive can you guys catch me up on the latest firmware for my Hitachi drive IE: Maximus, iXtreme, C4EVA, what?? Also if I order a replacement drive, what should I get, I always see all the Samsung/Toshiba stuff, are these better drives?? And the biggest question is: was there some sort of update that killed my drive recently??? Thanks for everyones help.

P.S. BTW: My Xbox 360 was an original launch system and I have never gotten the RRoD yet. Never repaired or anything, and it has been taken apart a lot. My neighbor has gone through 4 so far in the past three months. Hopefully it want die on me after this post. LOL
