before i foash my drive...how do i unflash?

hi,

before i flash my hitachi drive id like to see a tutorial/instructions on how to Unflash my drive?

could someone help me out please?

I dont not sure where to go to find out how to unflash it, but why would you want to take the flash off? Is it so you can send it back to M$ if you get the 3ROD

no i know ive voided any warranty i had on it. i know someoen who can fix xboxes etc. thats not the problem. id jsut like to know how to unflash it for future refference.

id like to have the option to unflash before i actually modify it in any way.

any help/links you can provide would be great!

as long as you have your original firmware file (with drive key), you use the "restore" funtion within the maximus toolbox. read the "readme" tutorial that comes with the toolbox for instructions.

ok thanks, so s it jsut a case of restoring the original .bin file and the drive key you save as a backup during the tutorials?
