hi,

i can use xbox live via my wireless network and a game adapter but i dont really use xbox live much for games, so i think im pretty safe for not getting banned if microsoft only look for people using backups.

people are saying they have applied the latest xbox 360 update that allows divx support etc which i would like./..should i update my xbox via xbox live before i flash it? after i flash it? or does it matter at all?

if you want to be super extra cautious, apply it before the flash. many folks on here have applied after the flash and it has worked fine. i have mine flashed, and plan to apply it via xbox live upon my return home tomorrow.

hi,

yeah it seems pretty much every drive/firmware possibilities have been confirmed to be fine after the upgrade...my 360's on my desk at the moment with the case off, ready to have sometihng done once i fir my new case (hopefully coming in the next few days) - i tihnk i broke a few clips when breaking the shell off my 360 :/ not really a big deal but ive got no more warranty on it after opening it so why not give it an upgrade with a new Black Knight chameleon case :D (bargain off ebay :))

I think il flash it when everytihng arrives (unless my motherboard works in a minute :) and fit the new case as soon as its been tested and working with the new firmware :)
