3.71 M33 iso/cso problems

Hi all,
I have a psp that was at 3.52 M33-4 and all my games normally work fine but the last two ive tried have frozen just after i start the game(simpsons game and alien v predator requiem).
The games show on game menu and seem to be loading from mem stick but the screen stays black and goes no further.
Put the same games on my mates psp thats also on 3.52 M33-4 and they bloody work on his.
I just updated to 3.71 M33 but still no luck with these two games.
should i update to 3.71 M33-3?

Yes update. The update fixes some bugs so it might fix your problem. If it doesn't, format your MS (backup your files first!) and try it again.

Thanks ill try update.
Do i need to go 1.50 kernal patch,3.71m33-2 update,then 3.71m33-3 update or can i miss the 1.50 kernal patch?
