BECAREFUL AS MENTIONED BY binkie7 ...
What file format are the files? as most use convertxtodvd as it does the lot to dvd/burning with many file formats... nero will too, vision express if i remeber rightly (i dont use nero for that)
Nothing here to see, move along folks.

I think you'd be very satisfied with the speed and quality of ConvertXtoDVD, not free though but very easy to use.

I personally use convertxtodvd for my downloads. Mostly television shows and am very happy with the results. I might suggest for you to try the free alternative called dvd flick to get started though. It's also very good and easy to use. I would probably use it myself except I started using convertXtodvd before found it.
I know Nero will do what you want to do, but from my experiences it was with mixed results. eg: audio and video falling out of sync. It was that exact reason I started using convertx.

I wouldn't name the file, that one is definitely copyrighted. Does the file play on your computer, if not, it's probably a codec issue. Open the file in GSpot and it will tell you if the proper codecs are installed: http://www.download3k.com/Install-GSpot.html and there are other versions as well.

I don't know, never use it but I think I've read as many posts for it as against it for converting due to one issue or another.

Did you save the log from Nero - that can be helpful in figuring it out.
Did it fail during the transcoding or actual burning phase?
If you're not using the latest version - up date Nero - 8.1.1.4
Give one of the other programs a try to - though if it's failing during the burn phase it may be media and/or burner related.
DivXtoDVD
DVDFlick
ConvertXToDVD
The first 2 are free - ConvertX has a trial but leaves a watermark.
If you try DivX it doesn't have a burn engine so just use Nero burning rom or Express to burn the video_ts folder.

Nero usually doesn't discriminate between limewire or torrent files but there may be something it doesn't like with the files them self.
If you're not using the latest version then update to that.
Try one of the other programs listed above - those usually aren't as picky as Nero.

Well the only drive that ImgBurn picks up only reads dvd's - doesn't burn to them.
It will read and write cd's but if you want to convert the avi to play on a dvd player you'll need a drive that also burns to dvd's.
