Hi

I have 3 questions I need answered by you experts.

(1) I want to buy a new 360 and get the drive flashed with XTreme. I want to know that if I want to go on live and I use and ORIGINAL game, can they find out that my drive is flashed and ban me?

(2) I have the Samsung SH-D162C drive for my PC for making backups from my originals. Am I correct in thinking that I DO NOT have to worry about converting my backup ISO's to NME compatability because I do NOT have a chip in my 360? Or do you recommend me to still convert them to NME format?

(3) What 360 system would you recommend me to buy? Have any of the new versions in the store shelves right now been fixed of the overheating and three red rings of death problems that I was always reading about?

You should be fine with originals.

Correct, using that drive to back up an original with Xbox Backup Creator will make a perfectly working copy. No converting or stealth patching needed.

No, the problems still exist. People can tell you certain date ranges pf machines that MAY be better according to newer and thought to be better parts. But it is really the luck of the draw. Some people have nothing but problems and others have no problems at all.
