Hey, I just followed the steps to backup one of my cds,and everything seemed to work fine, went to the previews and everything, but when I selected play movie on the menu w/ my dvd player, it just went to a black screen. After I turned off the dvd player to see if it would work better, it just says "loading" and it just sits at the blue DVD Video screen. Anyone know where I could have gone wrong?

Are you using a guide? If so which one? Got a link?

It may be your discs, as stated earlier....could you give us the MID of the Maxell's?

Here is the link to the guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740
The only thing that was done differently than the guide said, was that FixVTS didn't fire up after DVD Decrypter was done.
The MID of the DVD-R is:
Manufacturer Name: Ritek Corp
Manufacturer ID: RITEKF1

Try this guide and skip the FixVTS step again...

Those Ritek discs can be problematic for some, I would suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
