I have a Xecuter chip and EvoX dash (not sure offhand what versions for either) and have started having problems with the machine. When i first got it there was no problem, but more recently, every so often I won't get any output (video or audio) when i turn it on. If I press the eject button, the same thing happens and the drive doesn't open. The xbox is turning on -the green light comes on (flashes if i've pressed eject) and the fan starts up, but there's no output.
Like i said, this doesn't happen every time, but its been happening more and more often recently. Back when it first started happening, I could just try it again and it would work. Now its so bad that I'll have to wait a few hours to start it up again.
I know its something to do with the chip, because the xbox will work without fail when the chip is switched off.

Has anyone had this problem and know how to solve it? I would appreciate even if someone could just let me know whether it sounds like a hardware or a software problem.
