One of the members of this forum reccomended I use a COPY PROTECTION REMOVER from QUALITEK INDUSTRIES. I looked at their site and read their description of the three basic models that I think would work for me, Their explanation soundrd logical. I tried an RF MODULATER in order to use the vcr rf input as opposed to the line input which is the logical approach thinking that that might work. The combination of a CP DISC, NEWER player, SOMEWHAT NEWER VCR STILL does not work well together. I am looking to find an OLDER(as in 15-29) vcr and/or dvd player pre cp, in order to avoid the REMOVER, but such units are hard to find in working order. I did have a MITSUBISHI model that worked well with the same player I am useing now, but that is gone now. Has anyone used these REMOVERS from any source who can give me first hand knowledge as to how well they work? They are fairly inexpencive, but money is not to be thrown away on something that does not work. ANYONE?

if i understand your question correctly, you want something that cuts out the protection between a DVD machine and a VHS machine.
A few years ago I tried out a scart cable that had a microchip in one end and a small 6volt power supply.
This worked very well.
I can't remember the website I got it from though.
The power supply was needed in case the microchip was not powered by the pin 9 on the scart. There was a little green light to tell you if the chip had power or not.
