I have a D2CKey install buy a pro. I have Verbatim DVD-R 16x.
My original disk always work.
My backups sometimes all of them work or no-one of them work, this will depend on
what day it is and what time, totally random.
Would this be an install issue or media ?
I have burnt the Verbatim's at 1x 2x 4x 8x and 16x.
When the D2CKey works all of the work. So I don't think its the
speed any idears?

hrm...you media code LOOKS good (some crapufactures use the same media code and these are used on the verbs and such so you never know what your getting)
I'd ask you to do a quality test but I don't know if kprobe or nero speed supports pioneer...got a Lite-On drive somewhere?
I have D2CKey too and I know this problem. after you playing wii sports or some other original games you need to disconnect your wii power cable, to wait 1 min and to connect it back and then all of your backup will work. that what I did.
I also have a D2CKey. I have problems mainly with Rayman Ravin Rabbids 1 and 2. The rest of my backups seem to run fine without hiccups. RR1 sometimes doesn't even boot, so I try again and it does but soon after crashes with the black screen and "eject, power off and reboot". I burned it 3 times with the same results - same speed and media as my others games. RRR2 instead boots fine but somewhere in the game the same thing happens. I have the originals and they work fine, without a glitch so it must be either the d2ckey that's flakey or some media problem - but as I said the others games I tried run perfectly.
I'm beginning to think that this chip isn't very stable, seeing the problems it's creating. I just don't understand why some titles work fine and these 2 just crash the Wii randomly. If it were a bad connection it would always crash on any game - though this doesn't happen.
Do the D2CKey guys have any feedback on the matter? Anyone else have the same problems with RRR1 and 2? Maybe it's time to try that new D2C chip...
