PSP xmb won't start

Running 3.71 m33-2

hi,
I recently tried to change my psp theme which required changing files in the flash 0 folder, but after i replaced the files, my psp now doesn't start up the XMB, it just shuts off. I am able to still access the recovery menu. is there a way to restore those files to default or a download the original files? I'd really appreciate any help on this issue.

did u made a backup, if yes then recover the backup. Not sure if flash file sharing are legal. They are Sony's properties. Or just recover back to 1.5

the 1.5 firmware. Place it on the Recovery folder

ALWAYS backup your flash0. ALWAYS. Once you reflash make sure you copy (not cut COPY) everything in your flash0 to your PC somewhere.

i placed the 1.50 firmware in the recovery folder, but when i choose to run the program through the recovery menu it doesnt start, just a blank screen, then it shuts off. any ideas?

The old recovery files don't work now on 3.71 M33...

Just use the new recovery files called.... XYZ...or something like that...
And it should work..

Use this file to recover your 3.71m33 to 1.50 HERE

In fact, I used it today to get back to 1.50 and up to 3.52m33-4 so trust me when I say it works. Just read the readme and you will be fine. It only takes like 2 minutes!

Great , thats what I'm talking about the new recovery for 3.71 M33 cause the old recovery files don't work and more on 3.71 M33...
If you try you'll end up having a lot of errors then what? FULL BRICK,...

That's what happen to me...
I thought they still work.. then I later found out that they don't...
I end up on a full bricked PSP... but later solved using Pandora...

But anyways that's my story ...
Try it and tell us what's the result..

The new dowgrade tools works perfect i had semi brick fat psp
3.71 M33-3 i fuc* up the Flash0 and now i im on 1.5 again thx 4 the great work
