i think i may have bricked it but im not sure, i have managed to do a couple before using the dosflash32 method in windows with no problems until now, after flashing the drive the xbox just hangs on a black screen and will not boot, i disconected the sata cable from the dvd drive and then it boots no problem, i thought i had solved it when i reflashed back to the original firmware and it booted but then i got error 64 on screen, i reflashed again with orig firmware but it now hangs on black screen again, im well and truly stuck now so if anybody can help id be grateful
thanks
thanks for the replys, i could never get dos16 to work for me only dos32 and that is a complete pain in the arse for some reason but in the end i did manage to sort it, i think i got something nasty running in the backround somewhere causing the problem as i never had this before, after 4hrs of ripping my hair out i repeatedly flashed back the original firmware 7 or 8 times out of sheer frustration and behold it actually worked and so did the hacked firmware repeating the process
agreed, i like the iprep method for my sammys, im new to ben-q and havent seen a guide for it yet, may be a stupid question but i presume its pretty much the same other than the 10sec trick, if you have a link to a guide would be helpful although i'll search now anyway, the iprep method is the only method that hasnt gave me any hassle using onboard via 8137 after editng the mtk
thanks for that m8, i see the newer version of iprep allocates for both sammy and benq and looks pretty straight forward, wish i new that earlier could of saved me a few strands of hair lol
cheers
