Problem: Playing a two player PS2 game on the 80 Gig PS3.

Synopsis: Both controllers work. One is factory, the other a logitech aftermarket one. But, i checked it and it works. While PS2 game is loading it says "Press PS Button" after doing so, with either controller the other one is rendered useless.

Games Tried: Madden 07, Madden 05, and Tiger Woods 05.

Any help would be appreciated. I just got the PS3 yesterday, still figuring everything out.

does the logitech pad have a ps button or equivalent?
if so then when it asks you to press the ps button do it on the logitech then hold down the ps button and on the logitech then change the controller to player 2 in the menu then try press the ps button on the sixaxis.

Yes it does have a PS button. After updating the firmware to 2.1 i tried it again and it it was working. Maybe it was just some glitch that the update fixed. It seems to be working now though. Thanks.
