easiest and safest way is to use your 3.10 oe-a to create a Pandora Battery and a Magic memory Stick.

HERE is a guide that will walk you through those steps.

You can create a Magic memory Stick that will downgrade the PSP to 1.50 so you can add whatever CFW you want. Or you can create 1 that will install straight to 3.71 M33-2.

If you skip step 7 (Go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run "Despertar del Cementero" Let it do its magic and it will auto-reset to XMB when its finished.) you will have a Magic memory Stick that will downgrade your PSP to 1.50 firmware.

If you do step 7 it will create a magic memory Stick that will install the 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware.

I would suggest installing the 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware (+ 1.50 ADD ON-2) on the 2.81 official firmware PSP.

Once you have updated that PSP I would also suggest updating the 3.10 OE-A to 3.71 M33-2 as well.

Make sure you are using the normal PSP theme. If you have a custom theme on the 3.10 OE-A and use the linked guide you will need to convert the theme back to the original.

If you have backed up the EEPROM for the battery, it is possible to restore it back to normal but will lose the Pandora capability once done.

If you have not backed up the EEPROM it is also possible to use a universal serial for the battery but i have heard of it having side effects. Not sure how they manifest though and i have not used it before or yet.

There are a few progs capable of this. Larrylje has a link for a load of guides on this very subject which know & show a lot more than me. :-)

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

First off it is against forum rules to type in all CAPS.

If you read the guide you would have your answer. Thats why i linked to it so take advantage of the guides and read all the way through them before asking questions that have already been answered in the guide.

The kernel mode for the game folder is in the recovery menu. (turn off PSP and then hold R-Trigger button down while turning the PSP on).

When the recovery menu comes up go to configuration and the GAME folder kernel selection is there.

The guide says to use 2.XX or above kernel. So what kernel do you think you need to set it at?
