Stealth Patch

I wanted to ask if anyone knows when I back up a game w/my samsung DVD ROM and burn it to the DVD+R DL ho can I check if it was a burned stealth patched game. I used the stealth check on the XBC and it passed, but is there another program to use that will check this for me. All replys will be greatly appriciated

if you used the shd-162 drive then it will be stealth patched when its ripped. but you can use xDVDmulleter to check if its patched correctly and everything. if you use this run the crc checker and see if it comes back alright.

should be just fine. The only problem that i have with the CRC check is that it will sometimes come back with SS file errors when ripped from the original. But it is most likely due to the DVDmulleter database and not that your backup is bad.

I know I had ripped Gears of War w/an old version of XBC and it passed the stealth test,but when I had checked it w/the new XBC 2.7v @ the end it stated only use w/ixtream. Do you know if this is a good stealth patch or bad. JUst need to know to play online.

I also wanted to check the games I have because when I had bought my XBOX360 from someone they claimed had over 20 backups to give me w/the system and they game me the samsung drive w/Keron flashed on it already. They say they backed the all up w/the samsung,but want to make sure they are patched so wont be detected w/XBL.I was also thinking of making copies of them for other people to play. I saw that nero was good,just use the backup dvd. I was going to check them for stealh patch also. Dont want anyone blaming me for getting banned.

if you are worried about being banned, and you haven't already, you should read the following thread. folks think they might have figured out the reason for the recent bannings...which is more than just the stealth patch....

making copies for other people to play huh??? and i suppose i would be wrong by guessing you will be giving these away for free also huh? and if you are planning on selling these 'backups' im sure no-one here is going to assist you by telling you how to do it as this would be a felony in the US (assuming this is where you live) and might fall under the piracy rules for AD.

I would have to agree with the above. This is a public forum which anyone can access. So backing up games in the USA is already illegal, but backing them up for people who do not own them, sold or given away, is highly illegal here. I would just keep that part to yourself, you may want to endit that part out of your post.
