When I try to analyze the DVD with DVD shrink:

dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Failed to read file "F:\"
information error (cyclic redundation control)

Then I tried encrypting it with DVD encrypter to an ISO:

I/O error!
SscsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: check condition
CDB: 28 00 00 03 B5 A0 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: read (10)- Sector 243104
sense area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: No seek complete

log:
E 18:41:27 Failed to read Sector 243104 - No Seek Complete
E 18:41:28 Failed to Extract Sectors!

I also tried encrypting it to files but the same happened.
The encrypter log said that there was possibly structure protection, so I checked the 'remove structure protection' in options. Still it didnt work. I know this is a dvd shrink forum, but if some of you know what to do with the DVD encrypter problems.. =]

maybe some info: the DVD has 2 layers (and no scratches) ..

What is the name of the movie?

DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are very outdated rippers and can't cope with newer protections, I would try to rerip using DVDFab HD Decrypter and then continue with DVD Shrink as usual.

Also, this occurs when the DVD is damaged eventho you might not "see" any scratches. One solution is to replace the disc.

Platinum is also a pay program. You can use it's free ripper (DVDFab HD Decrypter) with DVD Shrink and you will have no out of pocket expense for software.
