I have succesfully flashed my 360 Elite with the Benq drive and burned my first backup with no problems. My question is when I tried to play it said that there was updates from xbox live and if I didn't take them that I would be disconnected from xbox live. I said no and it played fine. If I would take the updates would it hurt my online play or would I be banned from xbox live?

It's just an update for the game! I've updated all my games with my ixtreme FW! So you should be fine!
