SMG Update Before Wiikey [Trouble?]

Hi everyone,

Here's my delema: I recently played SMG which updated my Firmware to 3.0u. I will be installing my Wiikey (not a clone) this week, and I'm not sure if I should update to 3.1 before the chip? The only other posts that I've found read in this order: Update Firmware to 3.1 ---> Patch wiikey to 1.9g ---> Run SMG update.

I'm obviously not able to follow this order. Am I SOL Or will I still be ok?

You should be able to chip your Wii though it may be a lil more work to get it setup - not too much but you can always ask for help here if you get stuck.

I'd not update the Wii firmware until the Wiikey is updated.

Anyway, you should be ok.
