Been looking through afterdawn and I have tryed guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/585933 with no luck. I get to step 10) Select Pandora's battery, once the menu has loaded, press Triangle to backup your battery. The Program will close. Start it again and press X, which will make a Pandora's Battery. when I try this I just get a error and game can't be loaded.

Im using a 1GB Offical Card on a FAT 3.71 M33-2 PSP to make the battery.

Im trying to get M33 on two new slim PSP's 3.71.

Is that the right guide to use or am I doing something slightly wrong?

Any links to guides or info would be very helpful!

Cheers!

The battery might be patched. Start from scratch and do everything slowly and carefully.

The first part on creating the Magic memory Stick will work. The Pandora Battery Creator in that guide is for 1.50 kernel.

So your FAT PSP must have the 1.50 kernel ADD ON installed plus you must have the kernel mode set to 1.50 for the GAME folder in recovery menu.

If you don't have the 1.50 ADD ON installed go HERE and download ospbt_0.4.zip. Extract the file and place the ospbt folder into the /PSP/GAME folder (this application runs off of 3.XX kernel so it will defiantly run on your 3.71 M33 even if you don't have 1.50 ADD ON installed).

Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run OS Pandora Battery Tool.

There will be a warning screen all you have to do is press X to get to the main menu.

When at the main menu choose to backup the Battery EEPROM first.

Then choose to convert the battery to Pandora Battery (service mode). After it has converted to a Pandora battery exit the application and turn off the PSP.

You now can run the Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick on the PSP SLIM's.

After you have installed the CFW to the SLIM's you will need to plug your FAT PSP into the AC Adapter without the battery in it. Turn on the PSP and after the PSP boots up place the battery into the FAT PSP and then run OS Pandora Battery Tool again.

This time go down to "write serial number only from EEPROM". This will change the serial from service mode back to your Battery serial making it normal again.

How old is the battery? Did you buy the battery or did it come with the PSP? If it is younger than 6 months, it may be the new model, which prevents us from using homebrew to modify the EEPROM.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!
