I'm trying to backup JFK Directors cut and DVD Shrink (3.2.0.15) or DVDFab HD Decrypter (4.0.1.2) won't work, any suggestions?

Have you tried the latest dvdfabhd 4016 beta? If not, give it a whirl.

I just tried the newer version 4.0.1.6 and it still gives me the error:

Error while reading! Please choose what to do? Retry, Abort, Ignore.

Could it just be a bad disk? It either won't read the disk or it gets about half way through it.

Shrink can copy this two disc JFK movie, length 206 min.
Use Taiyo, or Verbatim blank media.

The best decrypting program I use that has never failed when others did is Anydvd very good decrypting tool or there are others you can try DVD Decrypter!!!! Hope this helps!!!!!peace

The error message you get states it cannot read that sector. You can try cleaning it and if that fails return it for a better copy.

Could it just be a bad disk?
