Quote: Burn process failed at 16x
Set the burning speed back to 4x to test.
Quote: Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC MAG
If no luck, replace these with 'Verbatim'.

I am having same problem, but here's a hint for the experts, it only seems to occur when burning from a saved file. Gets a different distance into the burn each time. Have defragged, using TDK DVD-R, Nero6.6.1.15, the DVD's are spotless, have plenty of RAM and processor, have the up to date firmware for LG burner. Going to try disconnect from internet and turn off anti virus and reduce burn speed.Wish me luck will report back.

You can also try an alternate burner or boot into Safe Mode to test.
http://www.imgburn.com/
Run ImgBurn
Click 'Mode' > 'Build'
Click 'Output' > 'Device'
Click 'File' > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK'
Set burning speed to 4x and click the green write button.

Yayyy! It works. Reduced burn speed to 8X and turned off anti virus (almost went back on line without it...shudder). Haven't tried changing burn priority away from the default of Low. Might be worth a look next session.
Thanks for your suggestion attar.
It's a pity people like DRKRAVEN don't bother coming back to tell us if anything worked or not. Perhaps they haven't tried burning again since talking on the forum?
