I have seen a couple methods for installing the wiikey. there is the short wire and the long wire. But the one i can never seem to find is the no wire way. is this possible. i have a D2A with all the points there and the legs are not cut. I have a decent experience with solder chips directly to the board. Thats how my PS2 chip installed. Is there any disadvantage besides being harder to remove then a long/short wire method.

Yeah the short wire method was adopted over the no wire method as the WiiKey points don't line up properly with the board and the points are close together and easy to bridge.
