PS2 Slim Magic Keys 2 Question

I have installed all of the magic keys with no problem, except for the long metal piece. Am I doing something wrong? I wiggle it around, the disc spins, but then it stops (when I have my finger on the metal part) do I need to have it in a special place? then when I do, do I tape it down? It's fustrating because everything else went in easy and the game DID play, but I took my finger off and it stopped. I need help, thanks!

try tapeing it down if you need to it wont hurt anything sometimes I find you need to bend the pin slightly to get it to depress the micro switch

I had the same problem, pulled the thing off to expose the sticky bottom, wouldn't stick to the ps2, so I just got a pice of double stick tape lightly placed it on top of the key then when disc started spinning firmly pressed on it then no more problem
