I just bought a wii today and im inrerested in modding it.I found out that most likely has a GC2-Dm2 acordding to the serial#(lu306....)What would be the best chip for this model as I,d like to use it online,plus update it,Not interested in imports or homebrew,just mostly backups,I,ve modded GC,Xbox, 360 in psp,so Im not afraid to soder.any help i.d app it.
Also i looked threw the modchip sticky and chips changed alot so im a little confused on this thanks
I went ahead in did the updates,just wondering whats a good modchip for this model,I was looking at the wiikey one ,none of the sites i looked at said the chip is dms compatable or not,any help id app it.
Do you mean GC2-DMS, If you do then it a choice between cyclowiz, WiiKey, Wiinja Delux (or you could always try the open source it's supposed to be very good), they all do playing backups Very well and there all similar to install, it's really down to personal choice. you can look at each of the websites, look for info about these chips in the modchip sticky, or just randomly pick one.
I've got a WiiKey I got it when it had just come out and thought it's the newest must be the best, I've never had a problem with it and have recommended it to friends.
