magic keys funny sounds

I finally got my magic keys to work, but are they supposed to make a clicking or scratching sound? not sure if it's scratching the disc, what can I do the stop this?

I'm pretty sure it isn't suppose to make those sounds. But im also pretty sure it isn't scratching your discs.

I don't know what version I'm using, but it's the type that has three parts and the one being the big metal piece. I took the disc out and it doesn't seem to be scratching it, and when I'm playing a game I don't really hear the noise unless I mute the volume, but was wondering if it typically makes noise.

Well it is supposed to make some noises during normal operation but if it isn't scratching the discs it should be fine then. My system makes noises at startup as well but after a while of gameplay it quiets down.
