TMPGEnc illegal audiostream error

I ripped a movie using SmartRipper then used DVD2AVI as a frameserver for TMPGEnc, decoding the audio to WAV. In TMPGEnc, I selected a source range of the scene I wanted and converted it to VCD format = successful.I tried encoding it again to SVCD format = yet again, successful (i used the guides on this site, so, nice one!). Thinking I was on a roll, I then tried to encode the same scene to DVD format selecting the CBR MPEG-1 Layer 11 Audio (MP2) option but at the stage of encoding I get an error message saying 'Illegal Audiostream'(I used the TooLame and SSRC plugins for audio encoding in all 3 instances)why does this happen now? How can I fix it?
