I'm almost ready to buy a 3CCD camcorder, but am having a hard time choosing between these 2 models.

The DV953 is about $500 cheaper, but it's CCD resolution is lower than the TRV950.

Is that the only major difference, or am I missing something?

Is buying the TRV950 worth $500 more?
