I have windows xp and have used ifoedit versions .89 to .931, and have the same problem with all of them. I can't seem to get ifoedit to create a directory (when trying CREATE IFOS or VOB EXTRAS). It makes me think i'm selecting a directory for the IFO file to be created, but when it starts processing, i get a WRITING DESTINATION VOB: but nothing after the VOB: no directory it's saving it to. Before anyone mentions it, yes the vob files are in the correct naming convention for IFOEDIT.
Any help would be appreciated.

oh, one more thing, is there an alternative program out there (other than IFOEDIT) for making IFO files? I don't want to reencode using an authoring program, i just want to make a workable IFO for my .VOB files.

I did find what i think the problem is concerning this issue with create ifos. If you edit (for example do any stream stripping) the vob files, you won't be able to create an ifo using IFOEDIT. In this case, where you are using an unaltered vob file, even though it says Writing Destination Vob: and no directory listed, it will still create the ifo files in the appropriate directory.

Try it out and let me know if it works with a freshly ripped .vob file.
