I have some pictures on my computer that were scanned there.I want to upload these pictures to a program.The program says jpeg images only.How do I make these pictures jpeg image files?

It depends on what sytem yo are running and what programs you have installed. If you are running XP I find the easiest way is to open the picture in Windows Paint. Once it has opened then go to File - Save As and type in a new file name and from the drop down menu choose to save as a jpeg. Hope that works for you!
