thanks for all your advice on changing from 3.10 OE-A to 3.52 M33 M4 so can play downloaded games. followed the instructions and got as far as installing the 3.52 M33 but then couldn't find the M4 file to download. would I be ok with just the 3.52 M33 or do I need the M4 aswell?

You don't absolutly NEED it, but if your planning on updating to 3.71 M33, then you WILL need to get 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4. Its a 5 second update, and chances of bricking are really obsolete.

It's really just a series minor updates to fix bugs found in the orignal 3.52 M33. 3.52 M33-4 includes updates from 3.52 M33-2 and 3.52 M33-3 also.

thanks for that.
is that the 3.71 version, if it is how can I get the M4?
even though i've managed to change it to 3.52 M33 it still won't play the games.
all the games seem to be different file types, ISO. CSO, PBP, BIN, dfc-dxtr, etc etc.
when we bought the console the bloke just drag and dropped complete zip and rar files into the iso folder on the memory stick and they played.
if I put the rar file in or open it up first and then put it in they still don't play.
some do and some don't but most don't.
I keep thinking it's just me doing something obviously stupid!
