problem upgrading from 3.52 m33-4 to 3.71m33

i was in oe and i followed the upgrade guide but when i hit psp update ver 3.71 on the game-memory stick i flashed black and then
it says "verifying 3.71.pbp... cannot open file <0x80010002>"
and then it restarts i tried redownloading all of the files and reformating the memory stick nothing works i did this process before with my other psp and it worked fine.

what firmware are you on cos to update to 3.71 m33 you need to be on 3.52 m33

ok download another copy of 3.71 update and format your memory stick

i dont know what i am doing wrong i dont get that error any more but it starts like its starting a game and says "the game could not be started. (dadadada)"
i made sure my kernel was set to 3.52 and everything is in L:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE what am i doing wrong
