Hi all, is there anyone kindy teach me step by step how to make ps2 slim SCPH-70006 work with usb external hdd? If got any guide or tutorial will be the best "prefer with picture":)

please explain for what purpose you want to use USB HDD?
eg. for playing games off it or playing videos and as extra storage?

IS it have different ways to edit it??? I need to backup game to hdd and play it on usb external hdd, been trying this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/369291 but still can't work...... already burn the hdloader and hdadvanced and swap magic coder 3.8 to boot it but all show me black screen......

NO NO...you got it all wrong! first format your external USB HDD to FAT or FAT 32 then. download USBAdvance.
heres what you will need.
USBAdvance image to be burned to CD.
USBAdvance ELF to be installed on MC or other devices.
this will allow you to install games on USB HDD. VIA PC.

I already try but still same, format to fat also come the same when I put the USBAdvance cd in ps2, still same black screen...... tested hdloader also but hdloader can read, only show error hardware...... anyway, do you have the guide or tutorial?
