Hi this might sound to you a bit funny but I am new to Ps3 and I bought guitar hero 3 with the guitar but I couldnt connec the guitar with the console for about 2:30 hours but after that the guitar got connected with the console by the small USB sold with it. I played it with the guitar but I dont know how to connect the guitar again

Congrats, man! I was having a REALLY bad day, but now you made my day!

If it's wireless, you don't need to connect it to anything.



Try resetting the guitar and the PS3.

I really don't understand what you're saying. You're very unclear. But if you're talking about attempting to sync the guitar with the PS3, I don't think you have to because it's not bluetooth. I don't have the game, but I think I read that somewhere. Maybe someone else can chime in. But I think the guitar for Guitar Hero 3 is battery operated--not bluetooth.

Im having the same problem with the ps2 we just bought the guitar hero 3 bundle and it wont connect wirelessly after multiple trys..any suggestions?

Plug in the little USB dongle that game with it. Then make sure the light on the dongle is on/flashing and if it is then press the PS button on the guitar once, then it should blink, then press it again. It should now be connected.. Was it THAT hard?

Actually, yes it was hard to get working because i tryed that and other options for nearly an hour before it finally worked.
