in Partition 1 i have:/dataxbox in it is:/english.dsk, assessts.dsk, streamed.dsk and in partition 2:netplay.txt and $CACHE$ in it is :/Sound, Movies, HD.wad, interface
technology aint gonna take over...anytime soon

well i get it that the motherboard isnt gonna recognize the 80gb cause...something about password i thing so i still dont understand why it wont pick up the original hdd

I have one guy try the ms dash, that I gave from the link, tonight. I will let you know it works or not on his xbox. He got problems with softmod and he does hotswap too.

yeah thanks im still waitin for the slayer disc to download but i havent found another MSDash yet....so im just trying to figure out this part::3. Copy files for xbox C:\ drive from slayers disk and put the files in xboxhdm's linux>C folder.:: thats kinda confusing still..what do i do

Ok last thing I can do for you. Talk to sesko.
Sesko has the complete working softmod backup file for both C and E drive on his PC. Ask him to zip it up and send it to you. If he give it to you, then your life is saved.
