I have a swap disc and a flip top on my ps2 so I don't need a mod chip to play my backups. I was just wondering what I would have to do to play my backups online using the swap disc? Would I follow the same procedure as you guys already do?

Hi,

I have patched a back up of my NFSU 2 but when I get to the loading screen of the online race it freezes.
I can get online fine and get past the DNAS check.
Anyone else got this problem?

Thanks

Hi, I downloaded the disc id utility and burnt it to a cd-r using my pioneer 108 but I get the red screen, I have duo 2 modchip and also I noticed that when I burnt the utility using Alcohol 120% first then Nero at 4x it paused momentarily at 50% then continued. Is there an issue with the pioneer 108 and ps2 cds, because I have sucessfully burnt dvd images. Or if someone can send me the dvd version of the utility then I'd appreciate that too. futuretrunks2001@yahoo.com

YOU CANNOT GET DNAS ID'S OFF THE INTERNET! If you use an id that is posted on the net, sony will ban you from playing online.

ok new problem NFS Underground 2... once i load the iso file to the patch program it says that it can be patch but when i verify it it gives mne this error: The Image File is not DN*S enabled or uses an unsupported version. what does this mean?
i made the image with Nero.

hey yea i burned the .cue and .bin with Nero. Iv burned cue and bin's before so i know how. But when i try to boot it in my ps2 it just stays black then goes to the browser screen with two choices, memory card or ps2 disc. I click ps2 disc then goes black and goes back to browser window same thing over and over. Maybe cuz its the cd-rw but i dont have the dvd version of the utility unless someone can give it to me. screename is sherjawan26@comcast.net. Thanks

i think the ps2 does not read rw media no dvd-rw no cd-rw. that could be the problem i used cd-r and worked just fine.

ohhh and about patching the game i try creating an image with Nero, and found out that is not supported by the patching program, to check what programs are supported for the image creation, open the patching program and click ok , it should show a popup window with the info.( maybe this helps )
