Hi

I have a v.4 ps2 that i just replaced the motherboard in, the new mobo is modded with an apple II and the old mobo was plain. Everything is in working order but the cd drive.

When I insert any type of disc, there is a ramping motor sound and it speeds up to beyond-cdr speeds, is there a speed adjustment or does this cd drive just not like the new mobo?

also i forgot to mention it but the dvd drive opens and closes more quickly than it normally did, and both mobos are from v4 ps2s.
