Samsung SH-D162C Question

Hi

I just recieved the Samsung SH-D162C flashed with Kreon. I want to install this on my main PC for the DVD read drive. My question is I use the DVD drive installed in there right now alot for making DVD movie backups and what not. Will the SH-D162C be able to read my DVD movie collection for backup purposes just like my old DVD drive did? Also, will it still be able to play music cds and function just like my old DVD drive but just have the 360 backup capability built in? Thanks in advance

it should work like any other dvd-rom drive. i use mine for multiple purposes, including music, movies, etc...

It will work fine with everything as a normal dvd-rom

Yes, ot will work the same as any other DVD-Rom drive. I use mine all the time to read a disc, then put the blank in my burner. No more switching discs inbetween read and write :)
