hi,

i jsut opened my xbox up again to install some talismoon fans that didnt even WORK!

and i noticed when i tried to switch it on whewn the top was off the great thign you can see with laods of strips of metal gets extremely hot the second i turn my xbox on...is that normal? what is it anyway?
its lots of strips of metal withan tube inside it...is that the heatsink?

should it get that hot?

I think your talking about the heatsink , and yes it does get hot.
