Winrar not reading Wii.iso files? Wiikey not recognizing them?

I've tried 4 different Wii isos for 4 different games. Every time I am able to isolate the iso (I had to unscramble one from a .wii file)but it doesn't show up on winrar like my PS2 and GCN isos do. It always says "unkonown format or damaged" and when I try to play the ISO on my Wii it doesn't recognize them. Im burning with Taiyo Yunden(sp?) dvd-r discs that have always worked with my PS2 games.

Am I missing a crucial step or something?

Also, Im pretty sure the Wiikey works. It updated to 1.9b no problem. It just wont read my discs.

Maybe Ill try a GC iso.

I think the files are corrupted maybe you should try a different place to download the games. Also if you manage to get them working burn it with imgburn or nero 7.

You can loosely check if an iso is corrupt or not before you burn by using WiiBrickBlocker. Simply load up the iso and click "Read Info" and it should come up with the right data for the iso.

As discodog says, use IMGBurn or Nero 7, try different media types like or try a slower speed. I use Verbatim with IMGBurn at 4x write speed after checking the iso with WiiBrickBlocker (without having to patch).
