dude if you dont have hdadvance already dont bother getting it, just download the ELF file of hdloader or the cd version from this site
http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=hd.html
if you have a usb mass storage then get the elf file. rename the hdloader ELF file to SWAPMAGIC.ELF (as i see from you sig that you have swapmagic 3.8) and put a folder on you usb mass storage drive called SWAPMAGIC. then in the SWAPMAGIC folder put in the SWAPMAGIC.ELF file. put the usb mass storage device into the first slot on the ps2. then when loading swapmagic 3.8 it will load the SWAPMAGIC.ELF file (hdloader) and there yea go. you can also use Ulauncher to put SWAPMAGIC folder onto your memory card so you dont need the usb any more.
if you dont got a usb then youll just have to burn the cd version of hdloader and boot it with swapmagic. but you should def use hdloader over hdadvance cuz hdadvance is obviously a cracked version of hdloader and besides hdloader gets faster updates =D

mine has the same problem with booting up cd version, um well im not sure if you can get it on dvd. u might just wanna buy the actual cd of hdloader (around 50 bucks from what i see) or get a usb flash drive (anywhere from 15-20 bucks at a local store for a 512mb). It will help you alot to transfer files (such as ELFS, music, videos, etc) to your hard drive while its still on the ps2. As of now you cant put ps2 games onto a hard drive from a usb though.

ok heres all the things u need to do to do
1. get a usb flash drive and put a folder in it called SWAPMAGIC
2. download Ulauncher elf from sksapps.com
3. rename Ulauncher (it will be called boot.elf) to SWAPMAGIC.ELF and put that in the SWAPMAGIC folder in the usb
4. add the HDloader elf file to the usb (anywhere you want to)
5. Put the usb in the top slot in the ps2 and load Swap Magic DVD Version
6. Swap Magic splash screen will appear then load Ulauncher
7. go into "File Browser" and then press circle button on mass:/
8. you will see the SWAPMAGIC folder, highlight it and press r1 then copy, go to the memory card mc0:/ and paste it in there.
this will make it so whenever you load swap magic, Ulauncher will boot up instead as long as the memory card is in. then you can use Ulauncher to launch hdloader and other apps.

heres a list of compatible games
http://www.ps2hd.com/list/
those games u listed are really new so it might not work untill the next update. some games are required to be set on modes, for the most part there are 3 modes (also 5 others that are optional) On the game list menu in hdloader highlight a game and press select the first 3 things are the 3 modes. I cant exactly remember the names of the modes but the first one is mode 1, 2nd is mode 2, and 3rd mode 3. ALOT of games require mode 3 or they get the BSOD(black screen of death). In rare other cases modes 1 and 2 are required.
So start off with trying just mode 3. supposedly some games require more then 1 mode set but i never came across a game that needed multiple modes.

this was the greatest information ever givin to me. this should be sticked or placed on sksapps.com because it was a no hassle, no burning a cd way to load up hd loader (cause im currently out of cd-r's).
Ok now the question i have is how do i get the hd loader to load with a ps1 trigger disc as i will be doing this for a friend and he will not be using a swap magic disc of any kind. the other problem is he's not that good with following directions, so is there a way that when you place the ps1 trigger disc that it will load up the hd loader without having to go through all thsoe steps (i.e mc0, badata, and so on). i just want it to load up the same way it does with the swap magic disc. because when i have my flash drive connected to my ps2 and place my swap magic dvd in it goes right to the hd loader start up screen. so that is what i would like for it to do when i have a memory card connected and place a ps1 trigger disc in. any help would be great

im not familiar at all with using a ps1 trigger disc but i found a nice guide that would probably help you. you'll have to use ur swapmagic on his ps2 just 1 time though to install the exploits. i hope this guide works for u.
