hi, i just bought a ps2 but, with all leads attached, the restart button only goes green fopr a second before it turns red again. at the same time a white flash comes across the tv for a split second. i am at a loss as to what to do. can you help me? thank you:-)

If you can find out what version you have, google up a fuse diagram for it, and check all the SMD fuses on the motherboard for continuity, one of them has probably blown, so once you find a blown one, you will have to buy a replacement, however a blown fuse is not always the cause of this problem, but is common.
