i have 2 issues and everything i find dosnt help so im combinding them into one thing and maby some one can help me out
ok ive been trying to get an emulator runing on my computer for ps2 games. i have tryed pcsx2 , it said i needed bios, i got that, then it said i it cant open gs plugin so i got a different one and it didnt help, i have tryed older versions of pcsx2 witht the same results. i also have tryed nsx2 which let me load the disk some what but abotu 5 seconds later it froze with a partil screen and the rest is a bunc hof colored squares covering the screen yet my computer says it is runing. i have also tryed another program but it did not work and i dont rember the name.
this all stems from my origonal problem of formatting a computer hardrive for the ps2, thought hours of research i have foudn a few ways to do this but not one has worked, and prety much eveyr one says the same thing, get hd loader or hd advanced and winhiip, i did and neather made a differenc, winhiip jus tmade my comp not recognize the hardrive unless i reformated it,
they said to burn hd loader/ advanced onto a cd or dvd and use it int he ps2 to format the drive in it but that was also a failure, the whole point in this is to not have to buy anything but i have been told to get a cheat program for the ps2 and use that to put hd loader on my memory card with my comp, but i dotn have money and it defeats my goal. so i came up with the idea of formating my hardrive with hd loader on my computer through an emulator but the emulator is not getting me any further then i was when i started this project. and im nto gogni to spend money on a mod chip eather, especialy seign how i coudl fuck up my ps2 if it is installed wrong
Some one know what i can do to get an emulater that actualy works and/or format a hardrive with out buying anything... i jsut want the map pacs for socom!! oi!
