dvdxcopyplatinum operations on a copied dvd?

I copied a dvd using dvdxcopyplatinum but can't find any way to use the software features (e.g. compression) on a DVD that was previously copied by the software. Any way to do this?

I've read the posts on how to do a copy of a copy, but if i have missed this answer, apologies in advance....

wthaswell, All the Xcopy software works pretty well, but it can't copy again from its own copy. Just insert disc in drive and use any disc copy software(Nero--Recordnow--Roxio). Once copy protection has been removed,any disc copy program will work. Can't do copy of copy with Xcopy.

Yeah, I KNOW how to copy the copy. That's easy. How do I (for example) edit the copy using DVDxCopyPlatinum - e.g. read the DVD copy, and then using DVDxCopyPlatinum compress it down to a CD and write the CD.

It's not going to read it's own copy, so you will have to try DVDshrink and see if it reads the copy. I think it will. Then compress and edit with shrink. Guides will tell you how to get it on Cds.

DVD Shrink will not read a copy from DVDxcopyPlatinum it gets an error as soon as you go to open disc>>>>

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. The error is:

Failed to open file

The reason is:The system cannot find the file specified....>> Thats the message I get using a copy from Xplatinum and DVD Shrink when i tried to use DVD Decrypter it just get read errors. I tried with both my copies from Dvdxcopyplatinum of Sinbad and T3.....How did you make a copy from a DVDxcopyPlatinum copy.....take a look at this and you'll see where i have been trying to copy any help is appreciated>>>http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/58052#312671
