I ran PSARDUMPER on my 3.71M33-4 psp and moved the sircs.prx file from F0/KD to IRSHELL/SYSTEM as instructed by the 3.81 IRShell user guide. I didn't have FW3.52 on my psp but was still able to extract that sircs.prx file from psardumper extraction when I ran the program. I tried to used the remote function in IRShell but couldn't get any of my electronics to shut off. If I need fw3.52, how do I dump it? Or do I need fw3.52 at all? Thanks.

Heres a guide
Post: #1HOW TO get the IR working for the new IRSHELL

This is easy to get NO ONE here can give it to you. Sony removed the PRX needed for infrared from FW3.71 - You need to get the sircs.prx yourself:

step 1: Download PSARdumper M33 from here: http://irshell.org/showthread.php?tid=371 (follow the readme to install it)
step 2: Download the official Sony 3.52 firmware update Eboot. If you don't have it, google it.
step 3: Put the Sony 3.52 firmware EBOOT.PBP in the root of your memory stick.
step 4: Start up the PSARdumper once. In the program you will have a few options. Choose SQUARE.
step 5: After you finish, you will boot back to the XMB. Now either use USB or iR Shell's directory view to go to the ms0:/F0 folder which will get created in the root of your memory stick. Look inside the ms0:/F0/KD subfolder for sircs.prx
step 6: Now copy the sircs.prx to the ms0:/IRSHELL/SYSTEM folder and your infrared remote codes should work.

Which eboot.pbp file do I use from the extracted file? there are two folders: 1.50only and M33creator.
