Burning Ps2 games

Basically I burned iso of the game into dvd-r using DVD decrypter but my burned games for ps2 won't work after i burned them on dvd-r. Is there other steps for burning ps2 games to dvd-r in order to make it work for modified ps2?
or did i miss out any steps?

Assuming you have a fat PS2 then DVD-R is best (+R for slim PS2)
Use quality disks.
Burn slowly like no more than 4x
You said you burnt the .iso file.
Not sure how you achieved the ISO image on your HDD but you should have burnt the .mds file produced by DVD Decrypter on the ripping process for example.
also it can help if you booktype your drive to DVD-ROM, can your drive be booktyped?
You don't say how your PS2 is modded.??
