I made Pandora Battery and Magic Mem stick a while back with a fat psp with CFW so I could then put CFW on my new psp slim. My buddy here has a fat psp with OFW 3.52. I have found a tut on using the Pandora battery to downgrade it. Here is the problem I insert the mem stick then the battery but nothing appears on the screen. I press the "x" button and the system shuts off. What am I doing wrong?

Which Pandora Version did you create... V1 is only for Fat PSPs, there is SLIM version which only works on SLIm which is v2 and V3 works on both fat and slim... it takes it to 3.71 m33-2

So V1 will not work... V2 you will not see nothing and V3 you will be able to see everything on the screen.

PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD
PS3 HD 60GB: 1.33 > 1.90 > 2.01 > 2.17 - NO OS
Nintendo DS [+[__]%]: EZ Flash 5 Plus + 1GB MicroSD + EZFlash 3in1
Nintendo Wii: 3.2U + 1GB SD Card + WiiKey 1.9s

He is using it to try to downgrade a FAT PSP not a SLIM.

If your getting nothing on the screen try hitting the brightness button. If you still get nothing then try re-creating the Magic memory Stick with the guide below.

Go HERE and follow this easy installer guide which will create a magic memory Stick with (Universal Unbricker v3) this will install 3.71 M33-2 to any FAT/SLIM PSP. You already have a Pandora Battery so just skip that step.

Now all I have in front of me is one fat psp with OFW and one slim psp with CFW. Can I still use that TOTALNewbi easyInstaller to hook the fat psp up?

You can use the easy installer on either or of the PSP it dosen't require a CFW to set up. It just needs a Memory Stick to install to.

So as long as you already have the Pandora Battery created you don't techinicly need a CFW PSP to finish the job.

Will this also work on a slim psp with OFW 3.71?
