One will probably be the theatrical version and the other should probably be an extended version.

Do the 1 Hr 26 min Title 1
The title 2, 1 Hr 41 min is a trap with messed up audio and sections in black and white (stalled video).

I know because i went through the trouble to back them both up.

First off, i backed this one up...again...the right version. :) DvdFab HD beta, FixVts, DvdShrink/ImgBurn. Came out perfect, no problems.

Iluvendo, i'm hanging in there bro. How are you? Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. And i checked your pics. Lol! I didn't know heaven allowed pictures to be taken! I've dreamed about being able to do that! Lol.

Every time I tried to manually play Title 2, it would just redirect to Title 1.

I kept both but only because when I blanked the undesirables, the compression level was at a solid ~72%.

*EDIT* Obviously, I also omitted the foreign language tracks and subtitles.

Yes, where is the problems with Title 2 ?

Looking at the movie in VOBBlanker shows VTS_01 as 234KB and 15s long while VTS_02 is 5924MB. VTS_02 does contain (2) PGCs, one 1h26m (5273MB) and the other 1h41 long (421MB). Something is screwy, that's for certain !

so I'm wrong lol there is a problem with the longer title. there are two chapters(one at the start of the movie and one near the end) that are still frames with screw up audio

It starts off when Homer and family go into the church late. When the preacher starts to talk, it freezes, turns black & white and you start hearing audio from the beginning.

Guys,

I am having absolultly no luck backing this one up.

I am beginning to think maybe the disc I have is just a bad press.

Here is everything I have tried.

Any DVD straight to Hard Drive

Any DVD + DVD Shrink

Any DVD + Clone DVD

Any DVD + Nero

DVDFAB HD Decrypter

and

DVD Decrypter

Does anyone have a fool-proof method to get this one to work for me. I am at a loss right now.

Thanks for the help.

clonedvd 2 + anydvd doing the movie only title (1:26 long) does the movie fine, if that doesn't work its a drive problem (not being able to transcode the movie) or i see people have problems backing up movies using box systems which i can't total explain why. maybe a bad pressing but doubtful

Zoso,

I don't think it's a drive problem as I have backed up countless other movies. For some reason this one is just giving me all sorts of fits.

You tossed all those progs at it? Sounds like a bad press to me. I had zero trouble with this one. DvdFab Hd>FixVts>DvdShrink>ImgBurn.
