Not a Matrix knockoff or clone, I mean the actual thing. Hopefully someone can give me a link to a site where it's not too expensive.

Also, if I have a slim SCPH-75001, will I need a laser fix as well?

As far as I know, the Matrix mod chip has been discontinued. I was told MrModchips.com sells them at a decent price. But I know their site is down. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. Also I was told all ps2's V12-14 need the laser fix.
