I am having major problems with The Kingdom 2007 with Jamie Foxx. I have tried Anydvd with Clonedvd, ripping with just Anydvd and DVDfab and each time I get an error towards the end of the rip. Any help would be appreciated

What error are you getting?

I tried ripit4me and got the same message that the disc was unreadable or dirty. It's brand new with no marks?

Since you are getting similar results from a number of processes, it reinforces the "bad disc" idea. You will be better off replacing the disc with another one rather than continuing with this one.

I used clonedvd 2 + anydvd (latest version) doing the movie only on the fly. worked fine

I had trouble! I used Dvdfab. The first run thru it said there were errors so I did it again and it said it worked... but tonight when I was ready to watch it... it won't read in any of my players. Says unknown.

after you rip with dvdfab decrypter use FixVTS or VOB Blanker to clean the file further them transcode with dvd shrink and burn. It may be a burning problem also so make sure you use good media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning no faster than 8x or 4x to 6x if your still having trouble

I used AnyDVD to decrypt and VOBblanker to remove unwanted content. That way I decrease the amount of compression that DVD Shrink needs to perform.

Vulcan94, you can re-author in dvd shrink also checking and unchecking what you want and don't want

If I'm not mistaken, If you re-author in dvd shrink the menus will no longer work. As I prefer to backup with the menus functional, I use VOBblanker to remove the unwanted content, then FixVTS and finally DVD Shrink in full disk mode (removing any unwanted subpictures and audio). I then use Imgburn to burn to disk. So far I have had extremely good luck using this method. So far I'm just a newbie in this, altho I'm sure as I become more experenced I will figure out better methods to make backups.

Here is your no nonsense solution to cracking "The Kingdom".
Use the latest DVDFAB Platinum with the latest ANYDVD.
Ignore DVDFAB;s warning about ANYDVD. KEEP ANYDVD RUNNING!!!
DVDFAB will encode the entire disc and menus and burn this mother......!!
Cracked like an egg.
