PSX screen size?

I have a problem playing PSX games on my PSP.

I find the normal screen too small, the Zoom mode too Zoomed in (can't see the lifebar on top and bottom of screen) and the stretched mode too ... stretched??

The stretched mode would actually look fine IF they actually stretched vertically the whole way, and not just horizontally.

Is there any hack/setting/utility to manually set the screen size??

Try the Full Screen option..

Sorry, that's what i meant by "stretched" mode before.

The Full Screen mode is not stretched all the way vertically. It would be actually good if it used the full height of the screen, but it doesn't.

So there is no way to manually set the screen height?
not even with a hack or a custom app?

But the Full Screen works fine for me..
